The 30 Day Idiom Challenge was designed to help intermediate-advanced English learners conquer the use of English idioms.

Idioms are expressions that have a different meaning from the words when read. For example, we say the idiom "Break a leg!" when we want to wish someone good luck. You wouldn't know when reading "break a leg" that it means good luck, right?

They may seem strange, but idioms are used on a daily basis for native speakers, and it's often one of the hardest things for ESL speakers to pick up naturally. This challenge will help you overcome those difficulties by providing extremely common idioms in just bite-sized portions. With 10 minutes a day for 30 days, you can learn and use 150 idioms like a native speaker.

What's included:

+Audio recording of idioms (slow and normal version): 5 idioms per day with definitions, examples, and stories using them (total of 150 idioms)

+Transcript: A written version of the recording

+Vocabulary help: Definition of words that may be new to learners in the audio recording

+Practice worksheet:  Daily exercises to practice your new idioms

Who the 30 Day Idiom Challenge is for:

If you are an intermediate to advanced English as a second language speaker, then this challenge is for you!

How it works:

Each audio track is just a few minutes long and contains 5 idioms with definitions, examples and a story using all 5 idioms in a native way. I recommend listening to the audio twice a day, completing the practice worksheet, and using the idioms each day as you speak in English (even if it's just to yourself!). After completing the challenge, I recommend you begin it again! Repetition = mastery, so give yourself the time to learn.
